My freshman year of art school, I bought a pair of identical sketchbooks. I labeled one the take everywhere book, and another the stay at home book. The former would be filled up out in the field while on adventures and the latter would only be used to document the sudden ideas that tend to occur at home. In the process of taking the take everywhere book everywhere, I lost it. I ended up using the stay at home book for everything - documenting my process from the studio to home and back.

Months later, I found the take everywhere book laying on a table in the common area of my residence building. Other art students accepted the title written on its cover as a challenge to take the book special places and fill its pages there.
